Rodeo on Halsted is this Saturday
The 1st Annual Rodeo on Halsted Rally is this Saturday, April 5. Team registration is from 3-4 PM at Cell Block. The rally is like the "Amazing Race.' The entry fee is $25 per team. To add to the fun, teams are encouraged to compete in costume. There will be a special prize for the team judged to have the best outfits. The forecast is for 60° and sunny, so get off yer keisters and come out for some fun. You can get further details by contacting Tom Sheridan at studroper@aol.com.

Bowling was a Blast
If you missed out on the Strike Out Against AIDS fundraiser foor Vital Bridges, you missed out on a great time. We were well represented with over three lanes of bowlers. The alley bar may have been even more excited than Vital Bridges though. They ran out of the "bowling pin" Bud Lights. after the event the shuttle took its riders back to Charlie's for those who wanted to have late night fun. Shuttle riders also got a taste of this year's Jello Shot recipe courtesy of the Royalty. All in all a very successful (and fun) event. Don't miss it next year.

Host Hotel is Set
The host hotel for the Windy City Rodeo will again be the Doubletree Alsip. Our Co-rodeo Director, Anthony, did an amazing job negotiating the room rate, and it has held at $89 a night this year. The phone number for registrations is 1-800-222-TREE. You may also make reservations at www.doubletree.com. Our group code for the rate is "WCR."

Cowboy Fetish Night at Touché
Long time ILGRA supporter, and perennial Bull Riding Buckle Sponsor, Touché is hosting a "Cowboy Fetish" night this April 26th starting at 10ish. The front bar will feature rodeo videos and country music. We will be there selling raffle tickets and promoting the rodeo. The prizes will be T-shirts, rodeo admissions, and some Alcala's gift certificates. You're strongly encouraged to break out your cowboy duds and come out to support one of our strongest and most consistent supporters.
